Neil Thorogood

He was the founder and Financial Director of Care First Group, an educational business for adults with disabilities that he grew from start-up to a £4.5m enterprise employing 140 staff before successfully exiting in 2022.
Passionate about purposeful work in later life, Neil now focuses on mentoring business owners and co-leading the *Business & Beyond* programme, in partnership with leadership expert Karen Tracey.

Neil brings deep insight into the realities of entrepreneurship, especially for women leaders, and believes strongly in the transference of skills into new ventures during the “third age.” His experience spans business consultancy, charitable leadership, and social enterprise development.
